130 years refreshing moments
Sanmy is the oldest soft drink company in Spain. Founded in 1895 under the name Santiago Puértolas, our history began before Catalan icons such as FC Barcelona (1899), the Hospital de Sant Pau (1930), or Tibidabo (1905). Even when the Sagrada Família was just beginning to rise, Sanmy was already producing its first siphons and sodas.
We are a company that has grown alongside Catalonia, that has withstood the changes of time, and that has evolved with awareness, responsibility, and rootedness. We are part of its living history.
Sanmy is a blend of tradition, modernity, adaptability, sustainability, and digitalization. We manufacture more than 300 references and distribute around 300 additional drinks. Our beloved siphon and over 25 different soda brands we produce are present in every store, bar, or restaurant. We also bottle much of the soft drinks consumed in Catalan supermarket chains such as Bon Preu, Casa Ametller, Sorli, Bon Àrea, and Condis, among others.
We have reached this point with pride, effort, and enthusiasm thanks to those who built Sanmy and those who make it possible today: our family, employees, customers, collaborators, and suppliers. We will continue moving forward to provide hydration consciously and enjoyably, because soft drinks are part of our daily life and heritage.

At Sanmy, we say that our bubbles have a long history because, since we started making soft drinks over 130 years ago, they have witnessed the world change from inside a bottle. Over the years, our daring bubbles have accompanied families and friends in their best moments and have adapted to social changes, winning over new generations with innovative flavors and ideas.

Tibidabo dressed up for our 130th anniversary!
For the first time, Spain’s oldest amusement park closed its doors just for us, in a historic day full of emotions, laughter, and speeches shared among employees, collaborators, clients, and authorities.
A unique tribute to the oldest soft drink company in the country, celebrating together our history, our values, and the excitement of continuing to grow.

One of Sanmy’s greatest assets has always been its people.
On this 130th anniversary, we wanted to recognize those who have dedicated more than 25 years of their lives to the company by giving them a special distinction.
We also fondly and gratefully remember those who are no longer with us, but whose legacy remains alive in each day of work.
